Need help using SteadyMonth? Find answers to common questions below or contact us if you’re experiencing a problem.

Common questions

Why does my balance show that I’m overdrawn?

SteadyMonth only includes income in your available balance once it has been marked as received.

If expected income remains unticked, your balance may appear lower—or show that you are overdrawn—even though you expect money to arrive later in the month.

Check that any income you have received has been marked accordingly. SteadyMonth will then recalculate your balance.

Does SteadyMonth connect to my bank?

No. SteadyMonth does not connect to your bank account or request your online-banking details.

You remain in control of the information entered into the app and must update it manually.

Where is my budgeting information stored?

Your budgeting information is stored locally on your device. Sparkes Development cannot view, retrieve or change the financial information you enter.

Depending on your Apple settings, app information may also be included in a device backup managed by Apple.

Can I use SteadyMonth on multiple devices?

SteadyMonth does not currently provide account-based syncing between devices.

Your information is associated with the device and any backups available through your personal Apple settings.

What happens if I delete the app?

Deleting SteadyMonth will remove the information stored locally by the app. Sparkes Development cannot restore this information for you.

A previous device backup may contain app information, but recovery depends on your Apple backup settings and cannot be guaranteed.

Is my information shared or used for advertising?

No. SteadyMonth does not sell your information, use it for personalised advertising or track your activity across other companies’ apps and websites.

You can read more in the SteadyMonth Privacy Policy.
