SteadyMonth Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the SteadyMonth app.

SteadyMonth is developed and provided by Sparkes Development, an independent app studio based in England.

1. Our approach to privacy

SteadyMonth is designed to help you manage a monthly budget without requiring an account or connecting to your bank.

Your budgeting information is stored locally on your device. Sparkes Development cannot access, view or retrieve the financial information you enter into the app.

2. Information entered into SteadyMonth

You may enter information including:

• Income amounts and descriptions

• Bills and regular expenses

• Spending information

• Payment dates

• Budget categories

• Notes or other information you choose to record

This information is used only on your device to provide the app’s budgeting features.

It is not transmitted to Sparkes Development, stored on our servers, sold to third parties or used for advertising.

3. Accounts and bank connections

SteadyMonth does not require you to create an account.

The app does not connect to your bank, access your bank account or request online-banking credentials.

We will never ask you to provide passwords, PINs or complete payment-card details through the app.

4. Storage and deletion

Information entered into SteadyMonth is stored locally on your device.

You can remove individual information using the controls available within the app. Removing the app from your device will also remove its locally stored information, subject to any device backup retained through your personal Apple settings.

Depending on your device settings, app information may be included in backups managed by Apple. Those backups are controlled through your Apple Account and are subject to Apple’s own privacy policies and settings.

Because Sparkes Development does not hold your budgeting information, we cannot recover it, remotely delete it or transfer it to another device for you.

5. Analytics, advertising and tracking

SteadyMonth does not contain third-party advertising.

We do not use your information for personalised advertising, and we do not track your activity across apps or websites owned by other organisations.

SteadyMonth does not currently use third-party analytics or crash-reporting services.

Apple may provide developers with limited sales, performance or diagnostic information under Apple’s own privacy arrangements and your device-sharing preferences. This does not give Sparkes Development access to the budgeting information you enter into SteadyMonth.

6. App purchases

Purchases and downloads are processed by Apple through the App Store.

Sparkes Development does not receive or store your complete payment-card or Apple Account details. Apple may provide us with general sales and transaction reporting in accordance with its own policies.

7. Contacting support

If you contact Sparkes Development for support, feedback or another enquiry, we may receive information you choose to provide, such as:

• Your name

• Your email address

• Your device model and software version

• Details of the problem or feedback

• Screenshots or attachments you choose to send

We use this information only to respond to your enquiry, investigate the issue and improve our apps.

Please do not send passwords, bank details or other sensitive financial information when contacting support.

Information provided through support correspondence is handled in accordance with our general Privacy Policy.

 

8. Security

We take reasonable steps to design and maintain SteadyMonth securely.

However, the security of information stored locally also depends on the security of your device. We recommend using a device passcode, Face ID or Touch ID and keeping iOS up to date.

No method of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

9. Children’s privacy

SteadyMonth is not specifically designed or marketed for use by children.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.

10. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy if SteadyMonth’s features, data-handling practices or legal obligations change.

The latest version will be published on this page and identified by the “Last updated” date.
